Let’s Welcome Shabbat Ep. 2

Ep.2 We Will Do and We Will Listen

The second podcast episode continues our “Let’s Welcome Shabbat” series and is a spirited mix of Torah wisdom, insights into ritual traditions, prayers, songs and a story. This week Rabbi Linda offers teachings surrounding the two Shabbat candles and Torah learnings from Parshat Mishpatim. She ends with a lovely midrash (story) about a poor, devoted Shabbat observer whose fortunes changed for the better when he inadvertently bought a bejeweled fish!
